The Wappingers Congress of Teachers is offering up to $150 as a grant to each school to further the character education of our students and promote bully prevention programs in the Wappingers Central School District.
Examples of how the grant may be used include bringing a speaker to the school to talk about cyber-bullying with the students, purchasing paint for a mural of your building’s character education principles, and buying rewards for PBIS, etc. We feel it is important that each school use the grant money for bully prevention and character education in a way that meets the needs of that individual building.
We look forward to seeing what people are doing in our schools to promote character education and bully prevention!
Here are the steps to apply for and receive the grant money;
1.Complete the attached grant application form. Please be as specific as possible with how the grant money will be used to support character education and/or bully prevention in your school.
